Then checkout our Mental Training Series (MTS). These sessions are facilitated in the classroom at the Union Bank and Trust Sports Complex and consist of Three- 55 minutes sessions over 5-weeks. Each session will discuss a different mental skill.

Mental Toughness
This session will measure individual mental toughness, discuss the concepts of mental toughness (breakpoint, grit, and reslience), the zone of performance, how to improve mental toughness, and end with a panel of athletes and coaches answering various questions about mental toughness.
Confidence
This session measure individual confidence, discuss the four sources of confidence, learned optimism, how to deal with failure, how to build confidence, self-talk, visualization, identify social support, and end with a panel of athletes and coaches answering various questions about confidence.

Leadership
This session will discuss survey personality type, discuss concepts of leadership, gaining and using influence, servant leadership, understanding the 5-love languages, motivating followers, leading each individual, developing culture, creating shared vision, how to share leadership, changing behavior, dealing with conflict, and end with a panel of athletes and coaches answering various questions about leadership.
Improving Performance
This session is a must for every athlete. This session will bring in experts in various fields to discuss how to improve performance by eating better, getting stronger, stretching, sleeping, hydration, supplementation, time management, commitment/reliability, attitude for success, as well as discussing mental skills to get to the next level. This session will include a brief overview of the importance of managing confidency, focus/refocus, relaxation, and communication. This session will conclude with a panel of athletes and coaches discussing how lifestyle management improved their performance.
Performing Under Pressure
This session will discuss how to thrive in competitive situations, being mentally tough, composure, concentation, confidence, communication, leadership, celebration, discipline, anxiety control, struggling well, and overcoming failure. This session will conclude with a panel of athletes and coaches answering various questions about how to deal with pressure. This session is great for anyone wanting to perform better in the classroom, life, or in an athletic contest.
